Its mostly shot like that, I cropped it a little bit to get the 4:5 aspect ratio instead of the 3:2 my camera natively puts out.

Good shot, very sharp! Personally I would remove the dead space in the top of the image - this is only my opinion. Another Northerner I see!

I quite liked the deadspace in this image, I took it with the intention of trying to show more of the background behind the road, I have a few tighter crops of some cars at this corner, i'll upload one. :)

I would photography it fairly regularily, maybe 10-15 events a year. This was one of the more main events.
